Quench Bath & Body from Around the World founder and owner Shashi Srikantan has always been interested in natural beauty products. At an early age, her mother introduced her to natural beauty remedies that Shashi's grandmother had shared with her mom as a young lady in India. Shashi would watch as her mother would whip up various concoctions of herbs, spices, botanicals, and oils to apply to her skin and hair. It seemed that no matter the beauty issue, Shashi's mother had unique and natural solutions borne out of the age-old beauty routines of women in her childhood home of India. To this day, Shashi uses her mother as a resource, and this education has fuelled Shashi's interest in the natural, culturally influenced, bath and body market. This was the driving force behind the founding of Quench.

Quench formulations are based on the recipes of the original cultures who have been using these "secrets" for centuries. Our products offer a pure and nourishing experience. All Quench products are paraben-free, sodium laureth/lauryl sulfate-free, and petroleum-free. Quench consistently employs small companies and co-ops, often from native communities, and seeks to foster fair trade and empower the women who make these products in the time-honored tradition of the native culture that has used it for generations. We are steadfast in our opposition to animal testing and never use animal-based ingredients. Be assured that all of our products are 100% cruelty-free.
